The Glucose Challenge Test (GCT) screens for gestational diabetes in pregnant women. Between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy, most pregnant women complete the GCT Test. It involves drinking a sugary solution on an empty stomach and then measuring blood glucose levels after one hour to assess the body's response.
