The Glucose Challenge Test (GCT) screens for gestational diabetes in pregnant women. Between 24 and 28 weeks of pregnancy, most pregnant women complete the GCT Test. It involves drinking a sugary solution on an empty stomach and then measuring blood glucose levels after one hour to assess the body's response. An elevated blood sugar reading indicates the need for further test in Nsnis, Patialaing to diagnose gestational diabetes.
