Coombs Test is used to observe the activities of antibodies inside the body. Antibodies fight bacteria and viruses inside the body. In indirect Coombs Test, on the other hand, doctors look for antibodies attached to the red blood stream in the blood stream. Normal range for Direct Coombs Test implies that there are no antibodies attacking the red blood cells.
